Jack is two months old today! I don't know where the time has gone. It has been a crazy ride so far, but I am loving being this little guy's momma.

Jack had his two-month checkup today. He weighs 10 lbs. 13.5 oz. (25th percentile) and is 23 inches long (90th percentile - he's going to be tall like his daddy). Here are just a few of the things I love about my two-month-old:
*He lights up when I talk to him. I love his big smiles.
*Diaper changes are one of his favorite things. I don't know if it's because he likes being naked or if it's getting his bum wiped, but he's always chill during diaper changes. There is of course the occasional incident where he pees or poos on us, but he thinks it's funny. (Mom and Dad's opinion varies depending on his timing and who is the one changing him: Just before bath time = OK. Just after a bath and a new diaper = not so funny)
*Another favorite thing is bath time, he likes to soak in the tub and kick his feet.
*He is rarely fussy. It makes it a lot easier to figure out what's wrong when he does cry.
*We haven't had to give him any medication yet (unless you count the bili-blanket for the first week of his life). I am grateful that he is so healthy.
*Even when it is bed time and he thinks it is play time you can't stay mad for long because he just lights up when we go to check on him and he gives us this smile and big eyes that seem to say, "Hi Mom/Dad! Is it time to play?"
*He sleeps good at night, 5-6 hours between feedings and is good about going right back to sleep. Naps could be better but he at least makes up for it in the evening. He must know how crazy Mom can get when sleep deprived. (Just ask Brandt)
We are very blessed to have this little guy in our lives. He is truly a joy in our home and can make your day with just a smile.
