4 Weeks with GG

I have spent nearly every free moment of the last month watching this show. My cousin Jill has all seven seasons on DVD and she let me borrow them (thanks Jill!) During the week, this has been my routine: wake up, go to work, lunch break (watch Gilmore Girls), back to work, home, dinner, watch Gilmore Girls until bedtime. Weekends weren't much different. Seriously, I am such a schmoe. But my Aunt Nada made me feel much better about the whole thing - she said I'm going to end up watching every episode anyway, so what difference does it make if I watch them all at once, or drag it out over the course of several months. And it's true, same amount of time wasted no matter what. Only difference is the permanent indent on our couch from me sitting in the same spot for hours on end. Seriously. I. Am. Schmoe.

I figured since this show has been why I have been MIA from this blog (and life in general really) over the past several weeks, I would clue you in on what I have spent my time doing.

*SPOILER ALERT!*
(Don't read any further if you actually care about the show and don't want to find out what happens)

Ok! Here we go, Basically the show is about these two women - Loralai (the mom) and Rory (the daughter):
They live in Connecticut with these people:

I watched Rory hook up w/ this guy:

then this guy:

Then back to this guy:

And finally this guy:

Meanwhile, I watched Loralai go from this guy:

to this guy:

to this guy:

And back to this guy (are you confused yet? Christopher sure is):

And finally back to this guy:

I watched these two duke it out for 7 years:

And this crew start a band:

I still don't know the purpose of this guy:

I watched these two get married and start their family:

I couldn't understand half of what this guy was saying:

I watched these two become frenemies:

This guy found out he had a daughter:

83,000 cups of coffee were consumed by Loralai and Rory at this place:

And this is how I felt when the series ended:

Now I can move on with my life.
The End.

P.S. I really do have some blog-worthy posts up my sleeve, but, as I've just explained, I've been preoccupied. Maybe now I'll finally get them written and posted. Stay tuned!

Hmmm...I am now thoroughly convinced by your post that I should now watch all 7 seasons also. Though I have never watched a single one in my entire life...

I absolutely love Gilmore Girls!! I totally understand not being able to get anything else done. My roommate and I would watch them at college all the time! I agree with Jill about the episode in season 7 when Lorelai pretends to be the answering machine...too funny!
